  • Do you accept Insurance?
    Yes. I am currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). Don’t have BCBS? Ask me about the Superbill option.
  • Do you accept self-pay?
    Yes, including Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flex Spending Account (FSA) payment options.
  • What are your session rates?
    The initial intake assessment is $200. Subsequent individual, couple and/or family sessions are $150.
  • What are your supervision session rates?
    Candidacy supervision rates are 45mins for $75 and 60mins for $100 per session. Supervision mentoring for AAMFT approved status and state supervisor approval is $100 per 60min session (2 hour sessions preferred but can be negotiated).
  • How long are sessions?
    The initial intake assessment is 60mins. Each subsequent individual, couple, or family therapy sessions are 55 minutes long.
  • How does the therapeutic book club series work?
    The Therapeutic Book Club series will consist of 4-6 1-hour weekly sessions depending on the book. Each session is $25 billed weekly. Group participants will be required to obtain their own copy of the book. Group size is limited. Register to be notified when the different series become available.
  • Do you offer in-person sessions?
    No. All therapy services are provided virtually through HIPAA protected electronic health record system.
  • How are sessions scheduled?
    All sessions are scheduled at the end of each appointment.

    Therapy can offer support and tools to navigate a variety of personal challenges, fostering growth and emotional well-being. It can help you understand yourself better by providing a safe space to explore and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to help you gain insight into yourself. It can also help you work through difficult emotions such as anxiety, depression, anger, and grief. Lastly it can help you build confidence and self-acceptance that can help you navigate life transitions to create lasting change.   • What can I expect in the first session?
    The first session is a time for use to get comfortable with each other. You will begin to sharing your story which will help me understand you a little bit better and it will help me understand what changes you are hoping for in therapy. You don’t have to share everything right away, I will adapt to you and work at a pace that feels manageable for you.
  • How long does therapy take?
    The duration of therapy depends on the goals, the therapeutic approach, and your comfort with the process. Some people achieve their goals sooner than expected, while others find ongoing sessions beneficial for maintaining well-being and growth over time.

  • What is your preferred supervision style?
    As a supervisor, my overall purpose is to provide a safe, collaborative environment that encompasses respect for differences and is fertile for growth to take place for the supervisee. I believe that my role is to see the supervisory relationship from a systemic lens, addressing aspects of that relationship using systemic intervention techniques. My supervisory approach incorporates person of the therapist work as I believe self-awareness is an important safeguard for the therapy process.
